Just For EDUCATIONAL SETTINGS
As a Director and Manager of an educational setting, I identified the need for parent support many years ago. Running the setting day-to-day meant I was not able to offer the level of support I felt was needed, and as many professionals within the education system will know, we often have to choose an area of focus and put others on hold.
Years later, being in a position to facilitate and lead support sessions for Parents I have witnessed the transformational impact that can have on the parenting community.
Stronger Parent-setting collaboration – Engaged parents contribute to a more positive school/nursery environment which in turn has a positive impact on their children.
Empowered parents and educators – Adults gain an understanding and awareness of tools to manage challenges and support children more effectively.
Confident, emotionally healthy children – When parents feel supported, they are in a better position to help their children thrive.
“I really enjoyed attending the parents’ coffee morning. It was so refreshing as a new mum to have some time to chat to other parents in a relaxed but safe space. The knowledgeable, expertise and experience in the room was unbelievable and I would highly recommend to anyone thinking of attending!”
— Miss K. Lea – Primary School Teacher and first time Mother
“Attending the coffee morning sessions has been such a refreshing and comforting experience. It’s more than just a cup of coffee, it’s a space where I can be myself, without fear of being judged. What makes them so special is the openness and honesty they encourage. We talk about everything from our children’s milestones and funny moments to the harder parts of family life that aren’t always easy to share. It’s not always perfect, and that’s exactly what makes it real. There’s no pressure to pretend everything is fine if it’s not. Everyone listens with empathy, and you leave feeling lighter and more understood. It’s also wonderful to connect with other parents who are going through the same journey. You realise you’re not alone in the ups and downs and there’s a quiet strength in sharing stories, laughter, and sometimes even tears.
Huge thanks to Chantelle for creating such a thoughtful, inclusive environment. These mornings are a real reminder that community matters—and that a little kindness and conversation can go a long way”.
